Cosmetology Salon

San Juan College Cosmetology Salon and Spa offers a variety of services to the community. The Salon and Spa provide students the opportunity to gain experience while being supervised by licensed professional instructors.

  • Permanent color and demi-color- up to 4 ounces of product.

Hair Lightening

If the hair is resistant to lightening or is in a weak or delicate condition, there will be additional charges for reconstructing treatments.

  • First application (Virgin Hair) starting aty$60
    The basic charge covers 1 application of lightener (up to 6 oz.), 1 application of toner (up to 4 oz.), and one application of reconstructor (up to 1 oz.)
    Additional Charges:
  • $5 per ounce of formula
  • Color remover $45 & up
  • Cap highlights $35
  • Foil highlights
  • One color $40 Two Color $50 Three Color starting at $60
  • Specialty Color/Color Correction starting at $80
    Extra charges assessed for different lengths of hair.  Additional charges applied for every 5 inches of length after hair passes the shoulder.

Student Salon Policies

• We offer a Senior Discount for most services (age 60 & up).
• SJC students and employees receive a 25% discount for most services.
• All work is done by students and will be supervised by licensed professional instructors.
• Only children receiving services from students are allowed in the salon area.
• NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE SALON AREA
